Treatment of chickenpox
There is no cure for chickenpox, but its symptoms can be reduced by:
- Pain reliever and antipyretic.
- Anticoagulants.
- Oatmeal baths; they reduce itching, especially for children.
- Antihistamines to reduce itching.
- Antiviral drugs; given to people with immunodeficiency or to reduce the duration of infection.
Complications of chickenpox
Newborns, pregnant women, and those with a weak immune system are more likely to have these complications:
- Bacterial infection in the skin accompanied by ulcers and itching.
- Pneumonia.
- Encephalitis.
- bleeding.
- Blood poisoning.
- Drought.
- Sometimes brain disorders, such as: headaches, seizures, dizziness and dizziness.

Coexistence with chickenpox
- Cut the nails of smallpox, especially children, to avoid cuts when itching.
- Take sick leave for school children for five to six days of injury.
