The fetus suffers from increased thyroid hormones, causing the following symptoms:

Causes of hypothyroidism

There is a lack of thyroid hormones for many reasons, as this affects the ability to reproduce and may cause infertility, the most important of these reasons:

  • Pituitary tumors or inflammation.
  • Inflammation of the thyroid gland.
  • Lack of iodine intake in food.
  • Take some medications containing the lithium element.
  • The effectiveness of thyroxine due to the presence of immunity in the tissues of the body.

Symptoms of hypothyroidism

  • Poor appetite to eat.
  • A significant increase in weight due to the accumulation of fluid in the body and increase the proportion of fat.
  • Cold intolerance due to lack of metabolic rate.
  • Hair loss and change of texture so that it becomes coarse texture and dull color.
