Fragrances and smells have existed since ancient times, and were limited only to kings and supervisors or those around them to raise the price and the few manufacturers.
In every king or emperor’s court there was a specific person for the manufacture of perfumes and their installation of plants and flowers that are carefully chosen to suit the king and suit his requirements. As the days passed and the perfume industry developed, perfumes became an industry in itself, based on professional experts and chemists.
It should be noted that perfume is divided in the way it is installed and manufactured into two parts:
- Plants and natural flowers.
- Chemical structures.
Today, perfumery is primarily based on the chemical method of composition of perfumes, a group of chemical equations that are composed of a variety of basic materials with known and pre-defined characteristics. Fragrances are often similar to the types of flowers with beautiful fragrances scattered in nature. There are other types come through trial and error, that is, there are many types of perfume does not resemble the smell of any flowers, but the smell is very beautiful, and is installed and approved for sale after conducting several experiments on many people in a systematic way.
It is useful to know the types of perfumes as they vary in the nature of composition to:
- Oil Fragrances: They are often made from plants or floral juices and are often pure and concentrated. They are used in the form of fat or in small tubules, such as oud, musk and others.
- Water Perfumes: Fragrances in which the original fragrance oil is mixed with a large amount of alcohol, which varies according to the ratio of the original oil in its name.
- Solid Perfume: It is the perfume that comes in a solid and is caused by mixing the original fragrance oil with amounts of wax modified.
