Types of burns
- First class burns: These burns are minor burns, which do not leave traces on the skin, and are mainly caused by exposure to sunlight significantly, and need for four or five days to treat them completely.
- Second degree burns: It is considered a minor burn, and its main cause is exposure to heat for a considerable period of time, divided into two main parts:
- Surface Grade: The burns appear in the form of bubbles filled with sticky substances, and need from ten days to fourteen days to treat them completely, and it is characterized by not leaving a trace on the skin.
- Deep degree: The skin begins to turn black, white spots appear on it and the skin is damaged, and it takes twenty days to a month to treat it completely, but it leaves traces on the length of the feast.
- Third degree burns: It is one of the most dangerous stages, it affects the skin completely, and it dissolves fat and muscle, and sometimes reach the bone layer, and need long periods of treatment, and it leaves clear effects on the skin.
Stages of treatment of burns
Treatment of first and second degree burns medically
- Remove clothes covering the area of burns, then wash them with cold water to relieve irritation and redness of the skin.
- Give the patient some medications that help to relieve pain caused by burns.
- Clean the burn areas with soap-free water and soap.
- Grease the burn areas with natural traps, then wrap them with a piece of gauze to ensure that the germs do not reach them.
- Remove the gauze from the area of the burns, then wash with water and medical soap and then roll it again.
Treatment of first and second degree burns naturally
- Onion juice: Apply sufficient amount of onion juice to burn places and leave it to dry completely, and helps to treat burns effectively because it contains disinfectants.
- Apple cider vinegar: Dipping a clean cotton with apple cider vinegar, and then wipe the burn areas with the mixture, leaving it to dry completely.
- Potato: Cut the potatoes into circles, then apply them to burn places, leaving them for fifteen minutes.
- the milk: Apply enough liquid milk to burn places, leave for 10 minutes and then wash with water.
- Honey: Apply enough honey to burn places, cover with gauze, leave for at least three hours, then wash with water.
- Soda carbonate: Mix equal amount of soda carbonate, water in a bowl to get a cohesive paste, then apply to burn places, leave it for fifteen minutes, then wash it with water.
- Egg whites: Apply a sufficient amount of egg whites to burn places, leaving it to dry thoroughly and then wash it with water.
Third degree burns treatment
