Turmeric
Turmeric is called Curcuma longa and is sometimes referred to as the Cannabis. The plant is spread in India and Indonesia. Turmeric is extracted from the plant’s roots. It is softly crushed, yellowish and brown. Turmeric contains essential oils and dyes that dissolve in water. There are several types of turmeric. Turmeric contains curcumin compounds: benzide, methoxy, valedithexi and karmine, as well as volatile oils such as: alantone, zingerbine, tirmirone, resins, proteins and sugars.

Note: To prepare the turmeric drink is done by placing a teaspoon of turmeric on the amount of a glass of water and drink on empty stomach, or by eating as a spice with food, in addition, the excessive intake of turmeric may harm, and is not allowed to take for pregnant women and lactating; as it may stimulates the uterus, and gallbladder patients should not approach it.
