Children are one of the greatest blessings that Allaah has bestowed upon us. They are the adornment of life and the hope of the future, and the joy for every father and mother. God Almighty gives them for whom he pleases of his servants, and deprive them to whom he pleases. Every mother and father must take care of their children and meet all their needs, raise them to a proper religious education, and feed them healthy nutrition to produce a healthy, physically and psychologically person. They are a blessing from God that must be preserved and protected from harm.

Child sleep

There are differences between children in terms of sleeping ways and sleeping patterns. There are children sleeping for long hours, and children sleep shorter hours. The pattern of sleeping is different in children. Some children sleep fast and others take longer to sleep. The child in the first months should sleep at the same room with his mother, to be close to her, and to feel safe and secure. Children in these months sleep in the arms of the mother or father.

The mother must stick to certain routine for her child’s sleep. To wake the child up in the early hours of the morning, and put him in bed at specific hours of the night, make the room light dim, and give the child a warm shower. If the mother applied this system, it will be a daily routine for the child and he will be able to sleep easily. Children who suffer from lack of sleep are those who are unable control their emotions and behaviors, and that leads to having bad mood. Unlike children who take enough sleeping hours, they are healthy and have a good mood. To make sleeping easier for children, the family must make a system and timetable for sleeping for all members of the family, so that the child can take enough sleep, and the child could sleep deeply without disturbance from any one.

Methods to make your child sleep

There are basic steps to make the baby sleep:

Children need rest and relaxation by taking a daily shower for them. This is one of the best ways to help a child to sleep.
There is a wonderful way to make the baby feel safe and relaxed, which is to massage his body in the proper way.
After shower and massage, a calm and unobtrusive atmosphere must be created to prepare the child for sleep, and the mother can sing or feed him.
If the mother can make a specific system for her child, and determine the hours of sleep, it will reflect on his physical and psychological health.
