How to increase the concentration of my child?

Concentration

Many mothers complain from a lack of concentration of their children, particularly in the early stages of their school life, because they are unaware of the importance of concentrating on the study process or of being able to acquire the necessary skills in their lives. They suffer from dispersion of ideas in playing, watching TV and other distractions.

Steps to increase the concentration of the child

Because success depends heavily on the student’s concentration, the student who occupies himself in many things, his achievement in studying will be low, so we will explain the steps that each mother must do to increase the concentration of her child, which is as follows:

The mother must put a sleeping system, to give her child enough time to sleep; because lack of sleeping results in weakening the concentration.

Eating healthy meals, especially breakfast, which should contain full nutrients, such as eggs and oats, and mother should not provide a meal containing a high proportion of sugars, because it works to reduce the concentration.

Parents should not talk to the son in a way that makes him feel he is still young, and he is unable to take responsibility, because it weakens his personality and leads to weakening his self-confidence, feeling fear and anxiety, and therefore inability to concentrate. Rather, they should talk to him as a young man who can take responsibility, because it enhances the concentration and the ability to carry out any task entrusted to him.

Do not deprive him of doing the things he likes to do in his life, such as playing or enjoying various entertainment; because deprivation makes the child feel inferiority and always thinks of these things.

Parents should avoid punishing the child for any wrongdoing of beatings and violence, because such sanctions destroy the child’s self-confidence and leads to the inability to concentrate, especially in the study.

Parents should always ask about the child, so that he does not feel the loneliness that makes him feel deficient. Loneliness undermines his self-confidence, and leads to anxiety and constant tension.

Change the daily routines that the child is accustomed to by changing the usual place of studying and the time allotted for it.

Using stories to convey information to a child by connecting information to story events to attract the attention of the child, and to confirm the information, so as he could never forget them.

These steps help the child to develop his mental and intellectual abilities, which help to increase the concentration in the learning process, and thus obtain the required educational attainment, which qualifies him to become a distinguished and valuable person in the society that he lives in.
