Silver
It is one of the most beautiful minerals found in nature and is considered to be one of the most precious metals, and the oldest minerals are discovered and used, and since ancient times it has been used in the manufacture of weapons for its durability; the ornaments for its beauty; the coins for its value; the chemical silver symbol is Ag with the atomic number (47) League, white color.
Methods of polishing silver
There are several ways to clean the silver in terms of strength and results. We do not rely on the strength of the materials used. We have to know the properties of each material used for cleaning. If the piece is very dirty, use the stronger methods. Precious when cleaning, and maintain its durability.
- Use boiling water, a tablespoon of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and add a piece of aluminum foil. Put the piece of silver to be polished in the mixture for 10 minutes.
- Mix a quarter cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) with two tablespoons of water, knead the mixture and then sponge with a wipe of the silverware, then rinse with water and dry.
- Cover a medium bowl with a piece of aluminum foil (or use an aluminum container), pour hot water over it, add powder from the laundry soap, soak the silver in the container for a few minutes, then rinse and dry.
- Put some of the ketchup on a paper napkin and rub it with the piece of silver to be cleaned. If you want to polish some silver pieces with angles, use an old toothbrush to clean.
- Use cornstarch and water on a slightly rough paper napkin, rub the silverware, rinse and dry.
* Use a disinfectant (eg hygienic) on a piece of soft tissue paper, rub and then wash the silver and dry it.
- Mix the lemons with the baking soda too, so you can polish the silver easily, place the silverware for an hour in the mixture and then rinse and dry.
- Place the toothpaste on a cloth, rub the silver, then wash and dry.
- Place the salt and baking soda in the water Place the mixture in an aluminum container and place them on a heat source for up to three minutes.
- Use the glass cleaner and clean the silverware with tissue paper or an old toothbrush and then wash and dry the silverware.
- Put some hair conditioner on the silverware, then wash and dry thoroughly.
- Pour a little water with the ammonia on a tissue paper and rub it with silverware and then wash it and dry it.
- Mix the vinegar with the baking soda and then soak the silver for 2 to 3 hours, then wash and dry.
- Place the milk powder with lemon and salt (coarse) and soak the silverware until morning.
- Place the chalk as a precautionary measure in the citrus tractor where it is kept. To absorb the moisture, do not accumulate a layer above the surface of the silverware. A piece of wood can also be placed for this purpose.
