Types of gems

Some call it precious stones and others call it precious stones in addition to the name of the tipper. It is composed of a group of metals that are composed of two or more elements. The basic material of its composition is silica, in addition to a few impurities, specifically metal.

The types of these stones are differentiated according to the different materials or components that are present in them. These stones are usually extracted from the volcanic regions, so that they are found specifically in the volcanic rocks and the rivers next to them. Here we will deal with the most important types of gemstones as follows:

  • Sapphire: One of the most precious and rare gemstones, it is expensive and has different colors, most notably red and dark red, but the color becomes gradually light when exposed to heat.

  • Emerald: It is a type of beryllium, consisting of beryllium silicate and silicate, which is dark green, transparent and deep, and is extracted from the rock and marble mines, unlike the rest of the other precious stones.
  • Ambassador: It is called a group of other names, most notably sapphires or saffers, as well as exhaling. Some are called blue sapphires, and are specifically extracted from a metal called blue corundum, which is formed by heat and high pressure.
  • Star Ambassador: Its color is translucent and has a range of white lines.
  • Agate: It is a metal that is dark and opaque and is not pure and is unable to crystallize. It is mostly red, yellow, green, blue and gray.
