Causes of Snoring

  • Congenital defects in children, such as obstruction of the posterior aperture of the nose from one side.
  • Inflammation of tonsils or tonsils of the child.
  • Oral breathing is abnormal.
  • Narrowing of the nose as a result of clogged or twisted nasal barrier, or enlargement of nasal oysters.
  • Obesity; it leads to the inflation of some areas in the airway.

  • Obesity treatment.
  • Avoid smoking, avoid drinking alcohol, and sedatives.
  • Change the sleeping position; because sleep on the back increases the snoring, so it is advised to sleep on the side.
  • Take some medications.
  • Surgical treatment by removing the two tons, or the meat during inflation, or a cosmetic procedure to modify the distortion of the nasal barrier.

Home remedies for snoring

  • Spray salt: Half a teaspoon of salt is placed in half a cup of boiling water, then put it in a spray bottle, then sprinkle three points of it in each slot of the nose openings.
  • Peppermint oil: Put a few peppermint oil on the finger, massage the lower parts of the nose, or through a steam bath, boil half a bucket of water, add a little peppermint oil, place it in a bowl, put a towel on the head, water.
  • Margarine: The margarine is heated slightly, then put two points of it in each slot of the nose openings, and repeated daily before sleep.
  • olive oil: Two small tablespoons of olive oil are taken on several sips three times a day.
