Methods of removing frankincense from clothing:

  • Remove kerosene with a few drops of diesel on the affected area, which contains chewing gum and then rub the gum with kerosene with a toothbrush, because kerosene is a powerful substance that may cause allergies or burns to the sensitive skin. When the gum is gone, we wash the piece with the washing machine as usual, with the addition of a beautiful scented detergent with the main washing powder to get rid of the strong smell of kerosene.
  • Remove the chewing gum with a piece of ice. In this way, we need a freezer, a plastic bag, ice cubes, and a knife. Then we bring the damaged piece and try to remove the gum from the cloth with the knife end, but gently so that the piece is not damaged or scratched. If the gum remains on the clothes, we will bring small cubes of ice and put them in a plastic bag and then pass them over the traces of chewing gum left on the clothes. They freeze them and remove them quickly and safely.
  • Remove the chewing gum by heat. This is the opposite of the above. We bring the electric iron and heat it to a suitable temperature for the type of cloth. Then we put it over the chewing gum and dissolve completely and adhere to the surface of the iron leaving the piece of clothing clean and free from stains.
