Sewing of children’s clothes
Sewing children’s clothing is not different from sewing adult clothes, and may be easier for you to small size and simplicity of designs and lack of complexity. You may not think of sewing new clothes for your children, because you do not know the design and sewing, or the complexities that you face during the work of appropriate design, we will help you to learn how to sew new clothes for your own without harming the work of pattern or enter the intricacies of different designs. You need a pen, sharp scissors and an adequate amount of pins.
Sewing dress
It is best to choose a soft cotton cloth on the sensitive child’s body, bright colors, and look in the baby’s wardrobe for a blouse suitable for size, to facilitate the measurement of different dress measurements.
- Wrap the cloth from the middle lengthwise, and separate it on a straight table.
- Fold the blouse longitudinally from the middle, and fasten the tip of the cloth to the top.
- Specify the blouse ends from all sides by pen on the cloth underneath, and the pen can be replaced with a soap.
- Remove the blouse from the cloth, set the dress skirt by installing the pen at the outer corner of the blouse scheme, and work a line gradually bending outward, up to the length you want to dress your child, drawing a horizontal line extends from the last point of the specified length to the fold of the interior of the cloth.
- Cut the dress scheme using a large, sharp scissors, leaving 2 cm extra to bend it when sewing.
- Repeat the previous steps to make the back of the dress.
- Fix both the front and back of the dress together, using the pointed pins.
- Sew the dress manually or using the sewing machine, leaving the neck and hands opening and the bottom of the dress without stitching.
- Fold the cloth at the opening of the hands, neck and bottom of the dress to the inside and tighten tightly.
- You can add colored beads or stones to the dress, depending on the colors.
Sewing of sleep trousers
- Wrap the cotton cloth longitudinally from the middle and set it on a straight surface.
- Remove one of your child’s appropriate size pants in the middle of the cloth, and fasten it firmly.
- The shape of the trousers is planned from the outside on the cloth from all sides.
- Remove the trousers from the cloth and cut the trousers on the cloth with a sharp, long scissors. You can increase the width of the pants by a few centimeters during cutting to make it more comfortable during sleep.
- Fix the front and back of the trousers with pointed pins, and tighten tightly with leaving the place of the feet and waist without stitching.
- Fold the fabric on both feet and waist to the inside and sew tightly.
- Add a thread of rubber to the inner part of the waist area, and tighten it to fit the size of the child’s waist.
