Remove blood stains from clothing

As mentioned above, the removal of blood spots as they occur is easy, and does not require much complexity, all that is necessary is to wash the spot of blood with cold water until the spot disappears, while avoiding the use of hot water.

Dry blood spots

Putting toothpaste helps to remove dry blood stains. Washing should be done by washing machine once the toothpaste is finished.

  • Place an adequate amount of toothpaste on the spot.
  • Distribute the toothpaste on the spot using a toothbrush, until it is completely covered, leaving it to dry.
  • Wash the paste with cold water.
If the spot does not completely disappear, repeat the previous steps until they are removed.

Blood stains for sensitive clothing

Clothes made from sensitive fabrics need to be careful while removing blood stains, and use appropriate materials to avoid damage to their tissue or discoloration, so the best way to be followed is through the use of water and salt, by:

  • Put the clothes under running water in the sink, and place the spot under the tap nozzle, taking into account the use of cold water, leaving it for a while until some spot effects are eliminated.
  • Mix the amount of salt with an appropriate amount of water, until they form together a cohesive paste.
  • Place the blood stain with the paste until it is fully saturated.
  • Let the blood spot well with the paste, then rinse with cold water.
If any traces of blood remain on the clothing, repeat the step again until the spot disappears.

Stubborn blood stains

In the case of removal of blood stains in the previous methods, it is possible to try ammonia to remove them, while avoiding use on woolen and silk fabrics, by:

  • Mix the amount of ammonia with the amount of water.
  • Replacing the ammonia mixture on the stain, leaving it for some time until the spot disappears.
  • Wash the stain with cold water.
