Simple ways to remove gum from clothes

Gum Like any other materials that have a disturbing effect on clothing, but not difficult to remove, so here are some ways to help remove it, whether it is a simple gum or diffucult gum:

Simple Gum:

water:

  • Scrape the excess glue with a flat knife.
  • Soak the clothes stained in a little water.
  • Wash clothes stained with hot water.
  • Repeat again if some traces of gum are noted.

If it is difficult to remove them in the previous way, you can follow the following method:

  • Wipe the piece of clothing contaminated with wax in cold water for 30 minutes.
  • Rub the gum stain with a sponge with a little detergent and leave it for five minutes.
  • Wash the piece with warm water.

Vinegar:

  • One liter of warm water.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of clear liquid.
  • One tablespoon of white vinegar.
  • Soak the cloth stained with gum for a quarter of an hour.
  • Wash thoroughly with clean water.

Scylicon gum:

Acetone

Ingredients:

  • cleaning detergent.
  • Water.
  • Acetone or nail polish remover.
  • Toothbrush.
  • Paper towel.
  • Sandpaper with granules as sand grains.

Method:

  • Make sure the gum is dry.
  • Put some dots of acetone on the cloth stain.
  • We start by wiping the stain well.
  • Leave it for no more than three minutes.
  • We rub the gum-stained piece with toothbrush.
  • The sandpaper can be used if the gum stain is difficult to remove.
  • Then put a little washing powder and rub it with your finger.
  • Wash the clothes piece in the washing machine.
  • Dry well.

Freezer

So be by putting the cloth in a few minutes frozen to make the gum shaky and cool, then we scrape it quickly after removing the piece of clothing from the frozen.

Iron

You can install a non-usable cloth and put it on the piece of clothing stained with glue, and then hot heat on the cloth for twenty seconds no more, and then refining the process itself by moving the cloth each time, to move to the cloth completely.

  • If the piece of clothing stained with glue is not washable, it is usually recommended that you consult with the experienced cleaning shops.
  • Use warm water for cleaning instead of cold.
  • Read the instruction on the clothing piece and pay attention to any note.
  • Avoid rubbing the cloth vigorously so that the fabric does not loosen.
  • Avoid using vinegar for some fabrics such as cotton and linen.
  • Do not let the removal tool used remain long times on clothes, so as not to dry.
