Methods of disposal of ink stains on clothes

Method of milk

  • Bring the damaged piece of ink, then dry it with an iron or hair dryer, to avoid dirting the entire piece with ink. Then, cover the damaged part with ink by tying it with a piece of rubber or cloth, then dipping it in hot milk for 10 minutes.

Lemon Method

Prepare a lotion of natural lemon juice or lemon salt with a little water, then apply on the spot well and immers in the solution for 10 minutes, then dry it thoroughly and try again until it is completely cleaned.

Citrus

Is a stain remover and grease for gas ovens. This powder is used on the ink stains on clothing made of linen or jeans for the strength of this product, as it can affect the quality of soft cloth made of cotton or silk and is used carefully on the cotton cloth under the affected spot to absorb the ink without affecting the rest of the clothes. Then spray the citrus and leave it for five minutes and then wash it in the usual way and preferably with cold water.

Sodium bicarbonate

Prepare a solution of one teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate with half a teaspoon of lemon salt or lemon juice, then pour the mixture on the ink spot and leave it until the material reacts with each other, then wash it with cold water, then put it in the washing machine and wash it as usual, but do not forget to place a piece of white clean cloth  to absorb entire ink without damaging any other part of the clothes.

Tips for cleaning clothes from stubborn stains

  • Place any solution prepared to remove stains on an internal part and leave it for at least five minutes.
  • Dealing with delicate fabrics, such as silk, lace, chiffon, and embroideries.
  • Wash the clothes with cold water after being processed from the stains, to avoid the reaction that can occur due to hot water and cleaning materials.
