Dates are the fruits of the palm tree, also called (dates, wet or brim). It is a very important nutritional value, it was considered an important food in the foot, a fruit that is considered to contain the highest percentage of sugar.
The dry dates contain a large percentage of the important minerals of the human body in its construction and protection from many diseases. These minerals include iron, phosphorus, sulfur, potash, manganese, chlorine, copper, calcium and manganese. It also contains carbohydrates, fat, water, Vitamin A, B1, B2 and C “.
Among the many benefits of dates, we mention that:
1. It regulates blood sugar when eating three or seven tablets in the early morning.
2. Helps reduce the appetite of the person.
3. Used in the treatment of some diseases such as constipation and relieve pain.
4. It treats anemia (anemia) because it contains a high percentage of iron.
5. Dates extend the body energy and activity. Facilitates digestion.
6. Strengthens the nervous system; it contains important minerals such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, iron and calcium.
7. It is given to the pregnant woman to facilitate birth; to contain the hormone Betosin, which regulates the bout of the outdoors.
8. Treatment of infections caused by rheumatism.
9. Protecting the intake of intestines from cancer.
10. Dates are used to strengthen muscles and nerves.
11. Maintains eye moisture and luster, strengthens vision, and nerves of hearing.
12. Helps urinate, clean the liver and wash the kidneys.
13. Dates calm nerves, relieve nervous anxiety, and fight laziness and laxity.
14. Dates increase the vitality of the brain; to contain phosphorus, which increases sexual activity.
15. Activates dates immune system.
16. Eating dates increases the secretion of milk in nursing mothers.
Dates are among the best foods recommended by our master Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for eating because of their nutritional and medicinal importance to the body. We find the mention of dates in the Holy Quran, and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.
