Dates, or in English (Dates): is one of the blessed and good fruits that God mocked God Almighty. Where palm trees produce these fruits. These fruits are called dates in the final stage of their maturity. These fruits become dry, cohesive and dark at this stage, and their skin becomes rigid. This phase can be compared to the age of aging. As for the stage preceding the last stage, these fruits are called (wet), while the stage before them is (Al-Basr), before which they are (dates) or (Alhalal), and the first phase is called (pollen).

Dates have many benefits, as it has a great nutritional value. It contains many different and useful nutrients for humans, which vary according to the quality of dates. We can summarize these elements as follows:

  1. Dates are rich in natural sugars, which are characterized by their rapid absorption, digestion and blood circulation. These sugars include glucose, fructose, also called fruit sugar.
  2. Dates are rich in essential vitamins, such as vitamin A, vitamin B1, and vitamin B3.
  3. Dates are also rich in carbohydrates, and have a proportion of proteins.
  4. Dates are also rich in mineral salts that are indispensable to humans, including: potassium, phosphorus, iron, calcium, iodine and manganese.
  5. Dates also have a proportion of fat and fiber.

The above-mentioned nutrients derive from many health benefits, which can be summarized as follows:

  1. The sugars found in dates are an important source of energy for the human body.
  2. Vitamins in the dates have many benefits, for example: Vitamin A is necessary for healthy skin and skin, and vitamin B helps digestion, and maintains the integrity of the nervous system.
  3. Dates strengthen the body in general, as it contributes to strengthening the nerves and muscles, and delay the manifestations of aging.
  4. Calcium in dates keeps bones and teeth healthy and strengthens.
  5. Dates are colored, and an intestinal cleanser, which is used in the treatment of constipation because of the fibers that are available.
  6. Dates are very useful for the health of pregnant women, medical research has shown that dates facilitate the process of birth, and maintain the safety of mother and fetus, because of the materials in it. It also stimulates hormones that help to secrete milk for breastfeeding.
  7. Dates help to stimulate the immune system in the body, and has preventive properties of many diseases, such as cancer and other diseases.
  8. If a Muslim becomes seven days away from him, this is confirmed by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
