What are hormones
Hormones: Which are chemical messengers that control many of the basic functions of the body, such as food metabolism, reproductive system, how to maintain blood sugar, blood pressure, body balance, body temperature, energy levels and bone growth. Any type of problems within the endocrine system such as lack of secretion or disorder can lead to many disorders. These problems may include diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure and circulatory problems .
Types of glands
There are many types of glands but the most important ones are: pituitary, thyroid gland, thyroid glands, adrenal gland, lymph gland, pineal gland, ethnic gland, lacrimal gland, salivary gland and mammary gland.
- Langerhans Islands: A group of small cells around the pancreas that secrete the insulin hormone, which is responsible for regulating the amount of sugar in the blood, and that the lack of sugar or increase the cause of the emergence of diabetes is the result of disorders in the secretion of the hormone insulin.
- The pituitary gland, a very small gland of a very large size in turn, located above the back of the nose, regulates the various hormones that directly or indirectly affect the body’s basic functions. The occurrence of disorders in them crystallize in the accumulation of some fat in the body, especially in the face and chest, and may lead to swelling in the hands, feet, dwarf, or hyper-height and many others.
- The adrenal glands, a pair of them located above the kidneys, produce the adrenalin hormone responsible for blood pressure, and the hormone noradrenaline.
- The thyroid gland, like a butterfly shaped, lies on top of the collarbone, secreting hormones that regulate the metabolism of energy production by burning calories, regulating heart rate, regulating digestion, and regulating the level of cholesterol in the blood. The disorder of the hormones of this gland leads to inflation or toxicity of the thyroid.
- Thyroid gland is composed of four parts and secretion of a hormone that regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body. The disorder causes muscle cramps, headaches, nervousness, tremors, cramps in the hands, feet and arms. Kidney stones are one of the disorders of hormones separated from the gland.
Treatment of hormone disorder
Some types of disorders are treated by surgery, radiotherapy, medications, depending on the results of the diagnosis, the type of gland and the hormone and its activity, but there are some tips that help to alleviate these disorders and help to treat them:
- Moderate sun exposure to vitamin D
- Exercise like walking and swimming.
- You should avoid high unsaturated fats such as vegetable oil, margarine and healthy fats such as OIGA-3. The body needs fat to rebuild cells and produce hormones, so it should not be over-taken or underestimated in an attempt to balance. Unsaturated fats are oxidized, which in turn increases the levels of inflammation and mutations in the cells.
- Avoid toxic sources especially those that are sourced from pesticides, plastics and household chemicals.
- Sleep and relaxation improve the effectiveness of hormones.
