Hair Gel
Hair gel is a gel that works on hair wrapping to make it firm. It is used to curl or make it curly. It is one of the oldest materials used for curls, and many hair styling can be done using gel.
Ways to curl hair
Method 1
To curl hair in the calf, follow these steps:
- Wash the hair with water and shampoo. It is best to use the hair balm. The gel should be used on clean hair. The use of gel on non-clean hair will make it look unpleasant, cause hair weakness and break it. After washing the hair, it is dried by a towel and kept somewhat moist.
- Apply a small amount of gel on the fingertips and rub hands together, and then rub the hair to distribute the gel evenly on all parts of the hair, and the quantity varies according to hair density.
- The hair follicles can be wrapped by the fingers to make it curly, so that the hair is draped from the roots to the limbs, and then left to dry automatically, a brush or comb can be used to lay it off in a preferred way.
Method 2
This is another way of curling hair, which is:
- After washing the hair with shampoo and conditioner, the hair is broken in any preferred way, but it must be divided in an irregular way in order to curl it.
- The hair gel is distributed on the roots from the roots, and then the hair is turned forward and returned back, and then the threads are removed by the hands to break the contract and make it beautiful, and then leave to dry, noting the need not to use the comb to maintain the shape of hair curly.
- The hair spray can be used to give it gloss, and the hair dryer should not be used when curling it until the hair is not weakened.
Prepare the hair gel at home
Some types of hair gel may cause dehydration, and may prevent the distribution of moisture well on all parts of hair, in the types that contain alcohol and silicon, so you can use some natural ingredients to prepare the gel, the most important of these components are:
Seeds of flax
Flaxseed can be used to make hair gel at home, it is a substance that keeps the moisturizing and shine of the hair and its lint, as well as prevent its fall, and this gel is prepared in the following manner:
- Flaxseeds are soaked for a whole night.
- The following day flaxseeds are placed in a saucepan with water and left to boil.
- Reduce the fire and move the mixture continuously until you get a jelly-like foam gel.
- When the seeds are at the highest level they are lifted from the fire, and then use a filter and filter the resulting gel in another pot.
- Can add a simple amount of oils such as olive oil, can also add aloe vera gel, or butter.
- The resulting gel is stored in the refrigerator until use.
Aloe vera
Cactus contains many benefits to the hair, and can be used for curls and the preparation of natural gel at home through use, and it is better to use fresh cactus gel with the addition of some ingredients to make it more useful, and cactus gel is prepared according to the following method:
- Using fresh cactus leaves, use a sharp knife and cut the paper from the front to extract the gel inside.
- The cactus gel is extracted and placed in a bowl, by pulling the gel by a spoon or knife.
- Mix the gums with a few drops of rosemary oil, lavender oil or any kind of favorite essential oils. You can also add almond oil, olive oil or coconut oil, and mix the ingredients well.
- A small amount of this gel is taken for hair use in the same way as previously mentioned. It can be used and distributed evenly on the hair, and the remaining amount is kept in the refrigerator until it is used again.
