Henna is an evergreen perennial plant that lives for 3-10 years and grows in the warm environments of Africa. Its main habitat is Southwest Asia, so Egypt, Sudan, India and China are among the most productive countries.
It is a safe way to dye hair and hide the gray and get beautiful colors without resorting to chemical dyes that damage the hair because of the harmful substances can lead to weakness and hair loss.
Henna is not used only to hide hair or change the color of hair it contains many benefits that make a lot of people continue to use it, including:

Important guidelines when using henna:
• The hair must be clean before using henna to get rid of dust and oils to benefit from henna and get the desired color well.
• Do not leave on the hair for more than 6 hours so as not to dry henna on the head too much, which may lead to hair damage.
• Avoid using shampoo to wash the hair of henna, preferably wash with soap until the color on the hair and shampoo can be used the next day.

• To make the color last longer, it is preferable to add lemon and orange peel to the boiling water used to make the henna paste.
