Causes of cluster headache
The flow of blood in the temporal artery increases because of a neurological disorder, which sends nerve signals from the central cells through the fifth nerve to the hypothalamus region at the back of the brain, leading to an enlargement of the artery. The cause is therefore nervous, not because of blood vessels. Specific behind cluster headaches, but can be limited to the following reasons:
- Genetic causes.

Treatment of cluster headaches

- The use of the drug Argotamin: This drug reduces the blood vessels, and thus stop the headache, especially if it was used in the first minutes of the start of the attack, and there are two types, one inhaled, the other is placed under the tongue, but this drug causes many adverse effects such as nausea And vomiting.
- Topical drugs may be used locally, or pain relievers to relieve seizures.
