Itching the body
Body itching is uncomfortable and annoying feeling and makes a person want to rub a certain area of his body strongly. Skin itching can be the result of a skin rash or other condition such as psoriasis or dermatitis, or it may be a symptom of a disease, such as liver disease or kidney failure.
Depending on the cause of itching, the skin may look natural, or may be red, rough, or contain some pimples.
For a person’s long term rest and treatment, he or she must know the cause of the itching, and it is treated by taking medication or simple home therapy.
Symptoms of sudden body itching
A person may experience skin itching on some small areas of his body, such as the arm, leg, or the entire body, and may sometimes appear without any symptoms or other changes on the skin, and in other cases accompanied by the following symptoms:

- Dry and cracked skin.
- Exfoliation on the skin from the outside.
Sometimes the itching may continue for a long time and can be severe. The more the area is rubbed, the more the feeling and the desire to rub it more and more, and the more the person does, the more scratches on his skin.
Causes of itching of the body
There are several reasons for the itching in the body, including the following:
Dry skin
If it does not show any symptoms on the skin, such as redness or red spots and pimples, itching will often be dry skin, usually caused by environmental factors such as hot or cold weather with low humidity, long-term use of air conditioning or central heating, washing or bathing more than Necessary.
Dermatology and rashes
Many cases of itchy skin are caused by some diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, scabies, lice, and chickenpox. Itching usually occurs in certain areas and is associated with other signs such as redness, irritated skin or swelling and pimples.
Internal diseases
They include liver disease, poor wheat absorption (gastrointestinal disorders), renal failure, iron deficiency anemia, thyroid problems and cancer, including leukemia and lymphoma. In the case of one of these diseases, itching is severe and in all parts of the body, and remains the skin as it is without the appearance of any other symptoms, but with the presence of scratches due to itching.
Neurological disorders
Conditions that affect the nervous system such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes, neuroscience and shingles can cause itching.
An irritating and sensitive reaction
Wool, chemicals, soap, and other substances can irritate the skin and its skin. Sometimes it may be caused by a substance such as poison ivy, cosmetics, or allergies to certain foods.
