The boils
Hemangiomas are a local inflammation of the skin caused by a type of bacteria known as Staphylococcus aureus, resulting in a painful swelling in the affected area, swelling usually appears as a red spot turns in four days to a week to a hard spot and solid, It is filled with white blood cells or pus to fight inflammation. The face, neck, shoulders, armpits, eyelids, and buttocks are the most common places for the appearance of boils.
Types of boils
- Dilemma or anthrax: It is produced in the skin due to Staphylococcus aureus, characterized by the presence of one or more openings for the dummy, accompanied by chills and high temperature, and usually appears in a group of hair follicles.
- Cystic acne: As a result of inflammation and blockage of fatty channels, resulting in profoundly affecting skin tissue, cystic acne usually appears on the face in adolescence.
- Inflammatory thyroid glands: It is caused by the formation of many cysts under the armpits as a result of local inflammation of the sweat glands.
- Cystic abscess: It occurs in the folds of the buttocks, where it starts small and slightly at the base of hair follicles, and with time the inflammation expands and becomes more painful, usually caused by sitting for long periods.
Symptoms of boils
- Red blisters clustered around the hair follicle of a pea or golf ball, soft, warm and painful, with a white or yellow head in the center.
- Fever.
- Swollen lymph nodes.
- Fatigue and fatigue.
Causes of the formation of boils
- Do not grow hair.
- Stability of a fragment or strange material in the skin.
- Scrape, scratch, or cut into the skin.
- Infectious diseases or taking drugs that weaken the body’s immune system.
Treatment of boils
- Home treatment using towels or hot packs placed on the affected area to increase blood flow to this area.
- Use of topical or oral antibiotics under medical supervision to eliminate bacterial infection.
- Surgical intervention, especially in the case of frequent abscess, and inflammation of the sweat glands.
- Dump the boils from the pus under medical supervision to avoid the spread of the infection, by using a cloth dipped in a warm brine solution, then washed, use a topical antibiotic, and connect them with a bandage.
Treatment of boils in home mixtures
- tomatoes: Make a thick paste of tomato, apply it to the position of infection directly.
- Tea tree oil: Rub the boils with a small amount of tea tree oil daily for three weeks.
- Vinegar: Cover the boils with a cloth dampened with natural vinegar for three days.
Methods of prevention of boils
- Attention to personal hygiene, and the use of antibacterial medical soap.
- Avoid constant direct pressure in the buttock area, especially when the hair follicles become inflamed.
- Carefully wash clothes, bedding and towels to prevent infection.
- Clean and treat minor skin wounds.
