What are the symptoms of anemia?

Anemia, or anemia, is a deficiency or lack of red blood cells, especially healthy ones, and insufficient transport of oxygen to different parts of the body. Anemia or anemia may be a temporary condition that disappears as the result of iron deficiency, folic acid and poor nutrition, or may be permanent such as those related to genetic diseases such as thalassemia and sickle cell disease, for example. And some of them are mild and some of them are chronic and severe such as those resulting from leukemia and diseases related to bone marrow.

There are many symptoms that result from anemia, and it begins to appear gradually, including:

First: general weakness in the body and feeling tired and fatigue may reach the point of inability to make a simple effort, because of the lack of oxygen and nutrition that reach the different parts of the body.

Second: yellowing and pale skin, due to poor circulation.

Third: Pulse arrhythmias, such as the acceleration of the pulse, because the heart is forced to compensate for the lack of oxygen that reaches the body so that it can perform its functions and thus doubles its efforts to provide the body with oxygen and compensate for the lack of it.

Fourthly: hair loss, nail fracture or the appearance of longitudinal lines on the surface, due to poor blood circulation, lack of nutrition and the amount of oxygen reaching it.

Fifth: chest pain, shortness and difficulty breathing, because of poor circulation.

Sixth: feeling dizzy, nausea and headache, because of the lack of oxygen that reaches the brain.

Seventh: weakness and inability to concentrate, because of the lack of oxygen that reaches the brain and its cells.

Eighth: Feeling cold in the limbs such as feet and hands due to poor circulation.

Non-treatment of anemia leads to complications that may lead to death. And complications that may be caused by disorders and heart muscle problems, because, as mentioned earlier, the heart is forced to do a double effort to compensate for the lack of oxygen and blood that reaches the body, and therefore the heart is subjected to stress and disorders and irregular heartbeat and other Problems.
