  • It is a brownish patch of 1-5 mm in size and appears in the most vulnerable parts of the sun, such as the face and arms.
  • The freckles result from the interaction between the pigmented cells found in the skin and the sun, resulting in an increase in melanin formation that leads to dark skin. There are genetic factors that increase the likelihood of appearance of freckles in some.
  • Frequent freckles occur when excessive exposure to the sun as in the summer so it is recommended to use sunscreen to protect the face from these spots. The most vulnerable people are light skinned.
