- Eat a balanced healthy diet that contains fresh fruits and vegetables, especially rich in vitamin C and vitamin D, such as orange, fig and fiber, because the fiber strengthens the gingival tissue and avoids eating high carbohydrate foods that cause the plaque. Balanced food provides the gums with the important elements that help them to regenerate and heal wounds.
- Keep away from eating sweets and sugars excessively.
- Keep away from trying to break the snow and solid objects through the teeth; it works to press the gums, which leads to bleeding of blood from them.
- Use cactus to treat gums, and keep away from any products containing alcohol.
- quit smoking.
- Drink plenty of orange juice and pomegranate, drink lemon juice every morning because it works to strengthen the gums, and help them get rid of bleeding.
- Work on cleaning your teeth from food after all meals by brush, paste and floss properly.
- Use some home remedies such as:
- Mix a tablespoon of salt with two tablespoons of vinegar and rinse with them.
- Mix 1/4 teaspoon ground aniseed and 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin with half a cup of vinegar diluted with water.
