Anise and fennel
Anise is one of the herbaceous plants. It belongs to the parasite, and is called by many names: sweet cumin, sweet bean,and pesas, and wild fennel.
The nutrients in anise and fennel
Anisees contain a number of chemical compounds: volatile oils, anethol compound, anhydrous anhydride, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, abgenine, methylanicol, estrogen, and flavobacter. The fumar compounds are volatile oils, anethol, astragol, vitamin A, Guinness, iron, potassium, vitamin B, vitamin C, phosphorus, sulfur, calcium.
Benefits of anise
- Helps digestion, soothes colic and treats it.
- Calms nerves, treats blemishes, coughs, and asthma, as it repels gases and relieves flatulence.
- Appetite, also used to treat diseases of the gums and teeth and relieve their pain.
- Relieves headaches, relieves chest pain.

- Digestive problems such as: digestive problems, stomach fatigue, colic, diarrhea, it also repels the wind and gases, relieves abdominal distension.
- Kills intestinal bacteria.
- It is also a stimulant for the breast-feeding mother, as it stimulates menstruation and stimulates sex.
- Limits urinary system problems, removes accumulated gallstones on kidneys.
- Treats respiratory congestion, and sputum.
- The abdominal colic is treated in children by using an enema.
- Treats eye inflammation, common flu, asthma attacks, sore throat, and whooping cough.
Note: Fennel oil, when used in large doses, causes a drop in the heart. It also causes skin rash, nausea, and dizziness, while children cause a spasm.

- Hippocrates said of the anise that, “If one puts aniseed near his bed at night, he will see beautiful dreams thanks to its fresh perfume.” As David Antioch said: “It expels the wind, removes headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, chronic cough).
- It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “You have to fast and Sunoot, for there is a cure for every disease.”
