Juniper Herb

Non-medical benefits of the juniper
In addition to the medicinal benefits of the herb plant, it has other non-medicinal uses and benefits.The oils in the herb have a turpentine-like odor and have a bitter taste, so it is used as a kind of seasoning for various foods and beverages. On the other hand, it is used as a perfume, as it is used in the manufacture of soap and various cosmetic products such as lipstick, cream foundation, eye shadow, oil bath and hair comb.
Juniper wood is used in various carpentry works and is used in the pottery industry. On the other hand, it is used in the preparation of black tar and tar oil. Black tar is used in coating doors and windows and is used as an antibacterial.
Preparation of syrup
It is used in various forms and can be prepared in the form of dipped, tea, capsules, cream or lotion. Prepare the tea by pouring a cup of boiling water on a large suspension of the fruits and cover for 10-20 minutes and then be ready to drink and better to drink two cups of tea daily, not to be used for more than two weeks continuous. Prepare the mixture with twenty-five grains of the fruit in a glass of water and leave all night, and to make the best use preferably three times a day.
Warnings about using the herb
Lice are natural, so using or taking them on a normal level and in moderation for short periods is safe and does not usually cause any damage, but consuming large quantities or long periods may lead to kidney problems or seizures and other side effects. For some groups of patients, the use of anticonvulsants by diabetics may lead to hypoglycemia and recurrence of hypoglycaemic episodes.
