an introduction
Chaste tree, and its scientific name Vitex Agnus-Castus, a herb found in abundance in the areas overlooking the Mediterranean basin, also located in the regions of Central Asia. Morocco, and Albania, but the best in Madinah and its environs, which is a green herb, has very great benefits.
The benefits of Vitex Agnus-Castus
It has several health benefits, including:
- It works to clean the uterus, used by women during puberty because it helps to clean the uterus and get rid of impurities, and dead tissues.
- It works to regulate the menstrual cycle, and how to take advantage of it, to boil a tablespoon on a glass of water and soak every day twice, until the menstrual cycle is organized and may take three months to adhere to.
- This herb has an excellent record of being effective in counteracting progesterone deficiency, which at this point may be unusually low, making pregnancy difficult to achieve. This lack of hormone also causes many symptoms, including: the occurrence of menstruation more than once a month, the lack of vaccination of ova, tumors in the ovaries, and sometimes not completely menstruation. But this herb seems to have the ability to promote the endometrium to produce a hormone, which in turn increases the production of progesterone, making the fertilization of the egg more regular and pregnancy more likely to occur. Interestingly, this herb has no direct hormonal activity, so it is not a vegetable estrogen. The interest is multiplied if you mix this herb with marjoram or herb mantle.
- The herb is also considered an important contributing factor in relieving the symptoms of pre-menstrual, and in the healing of wounds and treatment of spleen problems, as it facilitates the process of birth.
How to use
Women start using the herb from the first day of the menstrual cycle either by boiling it or by taking a teaspoon on the empty stomach, eaten directly grated or mixed with milk, and taken a teaspoon before sleeping, and characterized by bitter taste.
