Abdominal pulse
The abdominal pulse usually occurs because of the aortic pulse, the largest artery in the abdominal cavity. This pulse may occur due to certain abdominal disorders. The abdominal pulse is also a sign of aneurysm and aortic lobe, known as the pulsating abdomen or pulsating abdominal mass. Inflation is due to poor swelling or enlargement of the wall of blood vessels and usually occurs in the lower part of the coronary artery (aorta). This condition is caused by medical or genetic factors, or because of the presence of many of the surrounding risk factors.
Causes of abdominal pulse
The cause of abdominal pulse is not always accurate and clear and is known to be related to the expansion of the aorta, and most likely to be affected are the risk factors related to the expansion of the artery and accumulation of sediments, hardening of the arteries, and these factors:
- Smoking: It is the most common cause of angiogenesis, which causes a sensation of abdominal pulse, and this increase increases with the amount of smoke consumed by the smoker.
* Age: This offer affects people who are over 60 years old.
- Men: They are more susceptible to these signs than women.
- Genetics: They are most often the most common.
- Fat accumulation, high blood pressure and diabetes.
- obesity.
Symptoms of aortic aneurysm
- The presence of a pulse in the abdomen, or a cluster pulsing above the navel.
- Pain in the upper abdominal area, or on its sides, sometimes pain occurs in the back.
- The patient may be in shock due to rupture of the inner wall of the artery and blood vessels
- Aortic aneurysm usually is non-apparent and symptom-free, making it difficult to detect.
Risk of aortic aneurysm
- The major risk, which medical procedures are trying to prevent, is the risk of rupture of the artery, which can occur because of a weak part of the artery wall so that it can not resist the blood pressure, causing rapid abdominal bleeding or rapid rupture of blood vessels.
- Rupture of the inner layer of the aorta, which can cause blood leakage between the layers of the wall of the aorta and lead to its removal.
- Most people think these symptoms are normal, but if they are detected late they become serious and deadly.
- The sooner this condition is detected, the faster and better the treatment, and may not require medical intervention.
- The aneurysm expands rapidly and often requires surgical intervention.
