It is normal for children and even adults to be exposed to diarrhea, either because of exposure to cold currents or because of contaminated food or as an effect of certain medications and others. Diarrhea can be defined as a loose stool that is watery and accompanied by a sense of urgency to enter the bathroom with a feeling of intense colic, repeated about 3 times a day. It is a symptom rather than a disease, and is not a serious thing in most cases, but in some cases it may be considered a symptom of a serious illness or problem. It is very important to maintain the level of fluids and salts in the body for those suffering from diarrhea so as not to become dehydrated, which has a serious impact on the health of the patient.

- Secretory diarrhea: Diarrhea caused by the secretion of the body to fluids inside the intestine unnecessarily. For example, some infections and the use of some types of drugs and as a result of some diseases.
