Manufacture of gold

Gold has become very popular, especially in the Arab societies and most of the Gulf countries, and this demand has increased after there are many forms and types of gold, and after rising prices in the market, some buy it for trade and not decoration. Here we will talk about the manufacture of gold, where there are two methods for manufacturing; manual method and casting method of waxing, here we will explain the methods in detail.

Handicraft

• The gold bullion has different procedures in the calculations, turning to 18, 21 or 22 gold on demand in the market, while the gold is broken after the manufacturer knows the caliber; because the caliber may be incomplete, the manufacturer adjusts the caliber according to the customer’s request or the market. The manufacturing process is done for any piece, whether it is a ring, a bracelet or a necklace, by giving the drawings to the cutting technician, and then to the technician concerned with the design.
• Stone Stabilization Stage: At this stage, the stones are fixed on the gold piece after cleaning, and placed in the vibrator, which gives the piece the desired color, where there are several colors of gold, depending on the gold standard, and after placing the stones and installed on the piece clean again and shine well.
• The final stage is the observation and sealing phase, where each piece is sealed according to its caliber. This caliber reflects the ratio of gold to copper in the piece. The higher the number of the caliber the greater the percentage of gold and the percentage of copper.

Waxing method

• Manufacturing stage: This stage is called the masterpiece. It is made of silver, handmade and goes through the stages mentioned above, and then goes to the wax section which is very clean and accurate.
• Wax phase: First, the piece is placed in a device called the piston, so that the piece is pressed thermally, then the drawings on the piece are printed on the piece. This is done within two hours of the time. The piece is placed in the wax machine. Then the high accuracy of dust, humidity and salts because all this affects the gold caliber, and then put wax in the molds gypsum, where cast gypsum a certain amount above it, and then emptied the mold of the air, and left to dry.
• This is the most accurate and most important stages and the most dangerous; here put the gypsum mold in the oven to clear the wax, and then to the oven to burn the drying mold where the temperature of this oven is about 750 degrees Celsius, converted into a piece of fire, and after 4-6 hours bring gold to pour in the mold so that it is in the form of liquid temperature 1150 ° C, and then transfer the mold to the suction device to pour gold in it and suck all the air to drop gold liquid in the blanks, then clean the mold of gypsum, and extract the piece and clean in a certain way and chemicals for cleaning gold.
