Spider Vein Treatment
The spider pink web is a varicose disease, but in the form of pink, blue or purple hairs. This network is usually spread on the nose, face and legs, and 30% of adult women suffer from it. The cosmetic goal is the basis for the treatment of the web, but it may result in pain and a sense of weight in some cases. The web may be isolated or separated by a nourishing vein or accompanied by varicose veins.
The web takes the following forms:
1) Round shape with the presence of a feeder vein in the center.
2) Shape of tree trunks.
3) The shape of zigzag lines with different lengths and colors.
the reasons:
1) Genetics; there is a strong relationship between genetics and varicose veins and the web.
2) Age. The web is present at all ages with an incidence of 18 to 35 years.
3) Sex; the percentage of web presence in women and men is 1: 4.
4) pregnancy; increase the incidence of the web in pregnant women and that result from:
- • Secretions of hormones that weaken the venous wall.
- • Increase the blood volume of the pregnant woman.
- • Increase the size of the uterus which causes pressure on the adjacent veins.
However, this network disappears soon after birth or after several months.
5) Profession: All the following factors cause the occurrence of the web:
- • Stand or sit for a long time.
- • Compression clothing.
- • Chronic constipation.
- • Taking hormones and birth control pills.
- • Wear high-heeled shoes.
- • The presence of menstrual cycle.
- • Obesity.
- • Lack of exercise.
- • Increase heat.
- • Follow the Western lifestyle model.
Methods of Treatment:
1) Sclerotherapy
It is a vein injection with a small needle, which requires 5 to 30 minutes. Sclerosis causes some pain, but the disease can go back to work directly. It is recommended to stay away from the sports effort for 24 hours.
2) laser therapy:
Laser is used directly to remove the spider web, but it is preferred to be used for small veins that are not suitable for hardening. The cost of laser is higher than the cost of treatment with thyme, and advised not to be exposed to the sun for two weeks.
What is better, hardening or laser?
Stimulation is needed to inject the chemical with needles and has been used for two decades. It is difficult to use on the web with small indexes, while laser is a successful method despite the high cost. The laser was the best treatment for the web.
Does the web come back again?
The treated veins do not return again while there is a possibility of recurrence in the event of pregnancy or lack of control of the factors causing them.
