- Galactose: This type of sugar is not found in food; it is made from milk sugar in the glands in the human body and produces milk.
- Manus: It is a type of sugars that binds to certain proteins, and is found in egg whites.
- Inocetol is the muscle sugar. This type of sugar is found in the tissue of the muscles, liver and heart. This type of sugar is found in the meat, which gives the distinctive taste of the meat.
