Penicillin
Is one of the oldest and most important antibiotics; Penicillin stop the manufacture of the cell wall of the bacteria, and is a type of penicillin,
(Penicillin G) is the first discovery, and the form of Betalactamat (Betalactams); it is not effective in the oral way because it is sensitive to secretions and acid stomach. Penicillin was discovered by Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming, who was born in 1881 and died in 1955. He was a botanist and was famous for his biology and pharmacology. He has many achievements and discoveries: (lysozyme) in 1923, in addition to the antibiotic (penicillin), which was derived from Penicillium notatum in 1928 and participated in the Nobel Prize in 1945 in medicine. The world began to search for mold in the 1920s. In 1928, he discovered that the antibiotic penicillin found in the mold had deadly properties of bacteria.
Penicillin is an antibacterial agent that kills bacteria, such as: Staphylococcus aureus, meningococci, in addition to pneumococcus, tetanus tetanus, which causes tetanus, and tubercles that lead to syphilis.
Sensitivity to penicillin
There are some people who are allergic to penicillin, and the reason is not clear to scientists in that; some scientists refer to the cause of the genetic factor. The sensitivity of penicillin appears after taking the drug; in some people it causes the occurrence of allergies often and therefore the emergence of some symptoms, including:
- Itching.
- Some people may have a rash.
- Itching in the eyes.
- Swelling on the face, tongue or around the lips.
In these cases, the patient is given some antihypertensives if the symptoms of Penicillin are proved, in some cases the patient takes corticosteroids, and the sensitivity to penicillin in some people may be even worse. Respiratory problems, difficulty breathing, low pressure, dizziness, loss of consciousness, and serious symptoms that may occur in this case as well:
- Whistling during breathing.
- rotary.
- Difficulty speaking.
- Increased pulse, glaucoma in the skin, lips and nails.
- Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
In case of these symptoms, the injured person should be rushed to the hospital immediately for adrenaline injection, pressure control and breathing assistance. Any delay may affect his or her life.
