What caused the nails to be broken
Do your nails split very quickly? This must be annoying, isn’t it? And when your nails are attached to your clothes and removed, and also when you have spent a long time taking care of them.
The nails are made of keratin completely like hair. The nails have three main parts: the root that enters the skin and the nail body, which appears to be pink, with blood vessels behind it, and the free part of the nail that appears white and is most prone to bombardment.
Most of the problems of nails, including brittle nails arise from the practices of the day, including:
First : Not using the appropriate tools to cut nails:
Some may resort to using scissors instead of nail clippers and file, thinking that they are more suitable for nails, but the scissors make invisible layers on the nail and gradually begin to appear in the form of brittlement by factors that help to appear like clothes. It should be noted that it is more appropriate to cut the nails round because it is less prone to brittlement and division.
Second : Using nail polish remover a lot:
It helps to remove the outer layer of the nails that protect them from external factors. It may cause the nails to become dull and lose their luster after using the paint remover. You can soak the nails with warm water after applying the paint remover for five minutes.
Third : Using nail polish frequently:
Especially if it is of poor quality. Nail polish absorbs moisture from the nails and therefore causes it to be broken due to lack of moisturizing. When applying a new coating, remove the old one and moisturize the nails either with warm water or using moisturizers and creams.
Fourthly : Using detergent and water frequently:
It is designed to remove fat and stains and therefore affect the moisturizing of the nails that become fragile and weak, so it is necessary to wear gloves when using these detergents.
Fifth : Problems with nutrition and excessive diet:
This is because nails need a reasonable amount of fat and large amounts of protein. The lack of calcium and biotin also affects nails. In addition to iron deficiency, the signs of the same iron appear lines on the nails. Vitamin A and C deficiency plus B6, and omega-3 deficiency of nail-biting causes.
Sixth: Climate changes such as dry and cold weather.
Seventh : Lack of water in the body, you should at least drink 8 glasses of water a day.
