Sweet almond oil
Sweet almond oil is a transparent oil, or a pale yellow color, resulting from white almond blossoms. It is a pleasant and acceptable flavor. It is a volatile oil that is used locally to treat pain and convulsions. It is also used in skin care products and hair.
Almond oil
Almond Oil is a concentrated essential oil, with a beautiful aroma and is made from pink almond blossoms. It contains unsaturated fatty acids, 50% essential vitamins, 50% benzyldehyde and amygdaline glycoside, which turns into cyanide toxic hydrogen after consumption, so it is advised not to use it frequently, and in large quantities.
Almond oil is used very low concentration of skin and hair care because it contains toxic properties, is used to reduce heat and fever, and kills intestinal worms. It is considered an effective softener, thus relieves the body of toxic substances through the urine, sweat and stool, and lowers blood pressure. Some studies have shown that toxic properties in bitter almond oil inhibit the growth and spread of free radicals and fight cancer.
The difference between sweet and sour almond oil for the skin
Sweet almond oil:
- Fits all skin types, especially dry skin, sensitive skin.
- • Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, D, E and monounsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid (omega-9), linoleic acid (omega-6), glyceride. A high proportion of proteins, and basic mineral salts; such as: phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium.
- Improves skin, gives it freshness, vitality, and saves it from stress and fatigue.
- Cleanses the skin, eliminates pimples, and prevents infections, because it contains antimicrobial properties, and bacteria.

- It regenerates skin cells, and saves them from dead cells.

Almond Almond Oil:
- Used in massage, and fragrance.
- Used only externally, it is recommended not to be used during pregnancy, or used for children.
- It fights itching, because it contains anti-convulsive properties, microbes and bacteria.
- It treats fungal and bacterial infections.
- It inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
- Prevents the accumulation and growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi on the skin; because it contains antifungal properties.
- Used as a local anesthetic for pain (in measured quantities).
Ways to use sweet almond oil for skin
- To remove make-up: By placing a small amount of almond oil on the medical cotton, put the cotton on the eye for about half a minute, then wipe eye makeup, and wash the skin with soap to remove the effects of oil.
- For lightening: By mixing the sweet almond oil with a quantity of oatmeal, gently massage the skin gently and stir for several minutes.
- For skin whitening: By mixing sweet almond oil with honey, and a small amount of lemon juice, to get a mask such as: the texture of the soft paste, then apply the mask on the skin, and leave it to dry, and then peel it, and wash the skin with warm water.
How to use bitter almond oil for skin
The bitter almond oil is used to massage the body by mixing a drop of bitter almond oil with thirty milliliters of any other carrier oil in a homogeneous manner, and massage the body with the mixture.
