Bleeding and congestion of the pregnant nose

Bleeding and congestion of the pregnant nose

Increased blood volume during pregnancy causes some tiny capillaries to explode in the nasal passages, leading to bleeding from the nose, thus swelling of the nasal passages. There are several reasons for this bleeding, including: vitamin C deficiency, and bioflavonoids. It is therefore necessary to improve the feeding system of the pregnant mother, and after birth will disappear completely.

Avoid bleeding the pregnant nose

To avoid menstrual bleeding and congestion during pregnancy, you should follow several steps, including:

  • Eat foods rich in vitamin C, such as broccoli, cabbage, grapefruit, lemon, orange, pepper, strawberries and guava.
  • Reduce your intake of dairy products if you get congested because they increase mucus secretion and calcium and magnesium intake.
  • Use moisturizers to keep the nasal tissue moist.
  • Do not use sprays or nasal passages, and instead use sprays with warm water; this helps to nourish the nose, shrink the membranes.
