Depression
It is a disease that the patient feels with great sadness and despair; because of an annoying or sickly position; which may result from a shortage of chemicals in the brain, and depression works to increase the incidence of heart disease or suicides and many family problems; Depression if continued for a long time to avoid many problems.
Causes of Depression
- Death of a dear person.
- Accumulation of many problems and not finding a solution to them.
- Poor health or serious illness.
- Physical problems, and inability to meet daily needs.
- Strong neurological and psychological stress.
- Alcohol or drugs.
- Hormonal problems after childbirth.
- Pathogens; low levels of thyroid hormone.
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder or post-divorce depression.
Symptoms of depression
Feeling empty, sad and wanting to stay alone.
- Intense nervousness, irritability and crying without reason.
- General fatigue in the body, the desire to sleep escape the reality.
- Decrease in body energy.
- Loss of interest in the family, and many favorite things.
- General body aches and headaches.
- Problems with digestion and lack of comfort.
- Nausea, dizziness, and loss of sexual desire.
Ways to treat depression
- Exercise, which increases the body’s activity regularly and reduces the incidence of depression significantly, and prefer to exercise collectively with favorite people such as walking or playing football or basket.
- Maintain prayer and read the Koran, and resort to pray to God to solve problems.
- Sit with comfortable people, who are very helpful in therapy, and enjoy the activities they enjoy.
- Thinking about positive things in life, moving away from negative thinking, and not thinking about the past.
- Listen to the soothing music of the nerves; which works to strengthen the immune system and relax.
- Sleep enough, breathe deeply, and stay away from work problems and daily tensions.

- Use massage therapy, or yoga, Chinese acupuncture, meditation.
- Use aromatherapy essential oils for the nerves, such as jasmine, cherry, rose, and chamomile.
