The most important thing for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder is how to get rid of it, and control those thoughts that occupy their minds at all times they are exposed to the effect that raises obsessive-compulsive disorder within them, and this leads to internal conflict in stages of the disease to show signs of tension that reflect what Turns inside the individual.
As for the successful treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, it should be under the supervision of a doctor or psychologist because it is divided into two parts: drug therapy, behavioral therapy. The treatment depends on the doctor’s diagnosis of the condition and the extent of progress, and the extent of the obsessive effects on the actions of the individual. Behavioral therapy – the main part of the treatment – is to teach the patient how to deal with the pathological thoughts and their kinetic actions, which can be summarized as follows:
First: Prevent the meditative thoughts, by not thinking about them and doing other things you are busy with, such as talking to others or doing work that requires concentration.
Second, knowing the difference between ordinary and obsessive thoughts, ordinary ideas are logical and have objective conditions. As for the obsessive thoughts, it repeats without logical reason. In this case, you must tell yourself that it is just an idea and a political one. As a result of the obsession within you, and over time will increase the strength of your resistance to those ideas and control yourself successfully.
Thirdly, you must admit that you are sick, that the cause of obsessive-compulsive disorder is a dysfunction in the connection between the front of the brain, which is responsible for the sense of fear and danger, and between the neurotransmitters controlling the ability of the individual to start and stop thoughts, so those ideas that you have Are just false ideas due to a defect in the brain signals, and not as a result of your lack of personal cleanliness or weakness of your faith or your fear of inaccuracy or other things that make your conscience unstable.
Fourth: Always face these ideas firmly and clearly. If you feel that you have to rearrange the room or fold the clothes because they are uncluttered, you have to face the feeling that you feel so and the room does not need to be arranged and that these thoughts are intrusive and unreal. And accept that you passed an injury and do not make it withdraw on the rest of the ideas in your life, as most other ideas are ordinary ideas.
