Sputum

Ways to get rid of phlegm
- Salt: By mixing salt with warm water, then gurgling; salt cleans and kills existing bacteria, and can be done several times a day.
- Liquids: Doctors recommend drinking plenty of water and fluids that dissolve phlegm from the throat to the end of the esophagus. The best recommended drinks are lemon and honey tea. Lemon acts as an antibacterial because it contains high vitamin C and helps the body resist bacteria.
- Ginger: Boil a glass of water and then add fresh ginger pieces and cover it and leave it to soak for ten minutes, and then drink after the honey, Ginger works to remove the congestion of the throat and fights respiratory infections. It is also possible to take advantage of ginger by chewing freshly.
