Flaxseed

The flaxseed of annual plants and native to the Eastern Mediterranean region was first used in the Fertile Crescent. Flaxseed contains a high percentage of oil, 40% of its constituents, and contains proteins and minerals. Flaxseed has many valuable benefits. It protects against aging, cancer, especially colon cancer, reduces inflammation, treats constipation, increases the beauty and health of the skin, and must take up fully mature seeds.

Uses of flaxseed

A recipe for weight loss

  • At breakfast, drink a cup of milk dissolved in a tablespoon of flaxseed powder, where seed fibers make the body feel full, and no need to eat between meals.
  • Eat a salad of lettuce, mint and parsley, plus a teaspoon of seed powder, a little vinegar and flaxseed before lunch. This dish gives a feeling of satiety, slowing the digestion process and dissolving grease and excess fat.
  • Use flaxseed oil instead of regular oil to make the cake, put the seed powder with the flour, and eat when you feel hungry, instead of eating sugars that work to increase weight, and dispense with eating.
