Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease, caused by bronchial bacteria, and these bacteria are species that can not be grown in the laboratory because of their small size so that they can not be seen under the light microscope.
The dangers of syphilis
- Infects the eyes and leads to impaired vision.
- Disruption of vision.
- Chronic inflammation of the retina and iris.
- May lead to blindness of the patient altogether.
- Lead to cirrhosis of the liver, and the resulting swelling in the spleen.
- The patient feels pain in the right area and swelling in the abdomen due to fluid pooling.
- Infections from vomiting.
- High temperature.
Syphilis relationship with vocal cords
- The disease affects the vocal cords, resulting in a hoarse sound in the patient.
- Leads to chronic inflammation of the tongue with some cracks.
- It causes the patient to feel pain when eating food.
- Increases the risk of cancer due to tongue injury.
- Tongue injury in syphilis patients may increase the risk of cancer.
