Skin care methods differ from chemical or natural methods using plant materials or herbs. Body care methods have been widespread since the twentieth century. Before that, these methods were the exclusive preserve of the family of the sultans and Mamluks. Proper skin care is not limited to the face and hands but to the body completely, so as to feel refreshed and clean away from the grain caused by pores, skin infections or any other skin diseases.

The way we will be going later is the steam bath for skin only, before that we will mention the importance of the steam bath and its benefits to the skin.
The steam bath stimulates the skin to stimulate the blood circulation in the face and lighten the pores in it. Thus, the steam bath releases all its secretions, impurities and even blackheads, and helps in the normal flow of blood to get a fresh, soft and shiny skin.
Work the steam bath at home
In the beginning you have to put a pot on the fire containing the water, and make it up to the boiling point, then the water vapor will start to rise and density of it.
- If you do not want it, just keep your eyes closed so that you do not get burned by burning water, you must cover your hair completely, and keep it away from your face.
- Keep away from the steam so as not to burn or hurt your skin, cover your head with a towel, and do not allow steam to leak, you will notice that your face began to watered with water to sweat.
- Using a piece of cotton, start by making circular movements to allow the steam to penetrate into the pores. Breathe in a healthy way from the nose and mouth. This method helps to clean the sinuses and thus feel comfortable during breathing.
- Keep your face for a minimum of one quarter of an hour, then remove your face slightly from the water to dry, lift the towel, apply the skin with a piece of cotton again, wash your face with cold water, apply any night moisturizer to remove the pores again.
Some women use a piece of ice after finishing the steam bath by rubbing it circularly, to make sure that all the pores are closed, and to protect them from impurities as well. It is preferable to replace water with herbs such as chamomile or mint.
