How to know skin color
Before knowing the color of the skin must be identified two things, namely:
- Surface skin color: The color of the skin that appears on the mirror, and depends on the color of the presence of pigmentation in the skin, and exposure to sunlight during the summer, and drought, and determine the color of the skin surface by looking at the color of the jaw area, to be less affected by changes in skin color compared to the rest the face.
- Inner skin color: Which is the color of the skin under the skin, and divide this type into three sections, namely:
- Warm skin, including dark or yellowish skin.
- The skin is cold and includes white, oblong, pink or red skin.
- Neutral skin, include mix previous colors.
Tests for skin color
There are some simple tests that can be done to determine skin color, including:
- Vena Test: The easiest vein test for skin color, by looking at the color of the veins in the skin, for example, if it is blue, it indicates that the skin color of the interior cool.
- Test white fabric: The best test is to use white towels and wrap them around the neck and shoulders, and to monitor the change in skin color, where the white color reflects the real color of the skin.
- Test gold and silver: If gold is suitable for skin, it indicates that the skin color of the interior cool, but in the case of gold suitable interior skin color warm, and if appropriate gold and silver for the skin, it means that the skin is neutral.
Factors that determine skin color
The skin color is determined by the concentration of three major pigments present in the dermis layer; to produce pigments in all surface skin tissues:
- Hemoglobin: It is the color that is responsible for the acquisition of reddish skin.
- Carotene: It is the color responsible for the acquisition of bright skin.
- Melanin: Melanin is the main factor influencing the color of the skin. Its increased concentration leads to the skin acquiring black color, while its decrease in concentration causes it to acquire pale yellow.
