The body needs to sleep for enough rest after the day’s stress and effort, as it takes six to eight hours to restore activity and increase the ability to perform daily tasks properly the next day. And sleep may have to be a kind of deep relaxation in order to achieve the desired goal; but unfortunately may suffer from some insomnia or inability to sleep, and this insomnia may cause many problems for the person the next day; such as stress, fatigue , Fatigue, and inability to perform tasks. Some may eat too much to be active, and sleep deprivation may be associated with physical illnesses such as heart disease.

Sleep is not limited to the number of hours a person sleeps for renewal and activity, but to the nature of the sleep and the comfort it gets. We often hear about someone who complains of fatigue, exhaustion and laziness despite the long hours he has slept. In deep sleep degrees, the tips we provide in order to get a comfortable sleep:

  • Stay away from eating fatty meals before going to sleep, and try to eat it at least two hours before.
  • Do not go to bed except when you need to sleep and not to force the body to sleep, because the frequent volatility in the bed cause insomnia and make it a dread to go to bed every night, there is no harder than spending the night trying to sleep and inability to do so.
  • Eat a glass of warm milk with anise or chamomile to increase sleepiness.
  • Staying away from caffeine-containing beverages such as coffee before bedtime, caffeine activates the body and secretions hormones that help to wake up.
  • Choose low light to stimulate sleep hormone production.
  • The best sleep position increases the ability of the body to sleep properly, and the best position is to sleep on the right side and put the right hand under the cheek, as this hand works to empty excess negative cargoes from the brain, which increases the health of sleep. It also reduces the pressure on the heart in this case, because the left lung is smaller than the right lung, and the stomach is relaxed and can easily discharge the food, unlike the situation at sleep on the left side, and the liver is in a state of stability. And do not forget that the position of sleep on the back may cause suffocation as the tongue may close the respiratory tract by gravity. Also, sleep on the abdomen may cause shortness of breath and stones in the kidneys, and has been ratified by the Prophet peace be upon him when advised to sleep on the right side.
