Birth is divided into three stages:
The first stage :-

1 – early birth stage:
At this stage the beginning of the cervical widening, where it expands to 3 cm, and the contractions are irregular and repeated every period of 5-20 minutes, and at this stage may be awakened by some vaginal secretions, and also feel pain in the lower back, and can occur in this The stage of the descent of a liquid water, the fluid surrounding the fetus, and the descent due to the rupture that gets the membrane surrounding the fetus.
2 – active birth stage:
The cervix starts to widen further. The cervical opening increases from 3 cm to 7 cm. The uterus contractions are stronger. It comes every 5 minutes and the contraction lasts for one minute every 5 minutes. At this point, you should go to the hospital, About the fetus.
3. Transitional birth stage:
At this point, the cervical opening due to contractions reaches 10 cm. Thus, the cervix becomes completely open. The contractions continue for one and a half minutes every two minutes. The woman feels strong pressure in the lower back. This is the most difficult stage of birth.
The second phase:
The baby’s head starts to go out as a result of the continuous payment from the woman. Here, the uterus contractions are 45-90 seconds long and rest approximately 5 minutes. This stage takes approximately 2 hours at the first birth and approximately 45 minutes or less in the following births.
third level:
This stage is after the birth of the child until the descent of the placenta and the surrounding membrane and umbilical cord, and this is the postpartum stage, the shortest stage where it takes about 20 minutes, and separate the placenta from the wall of the uterus, and doing some massage to the mother in the abdomen, To make sure that there are no ruptures in the vagina or cervix, and put the mother under observation for a few hours to reassure her and the baby, and so the birth has been completed in all stages.
