Children always want to have time to play, whether alone or with other children their age. But what the child strongly wants is to have a chance to play with his parents. He feels reassured and happy because they have entered his small world and shared what he loves. There are parents who know how to play with their children instinctively, they find playing time of the easiest and most beautiful times of the day, but others find it very difficult not to be able to create games with small children, or find it a reduction of their ability as parents. For all parents who want to spend time with their little ones and play with them, there are many ideas to help them.
How to Play with Baby
First it is very important for parents to realize that spending time with their child and playing with him will not diminish their fate, and will not deprive them of their role as parents, dealing with the child should be open and spontaneous, but with respect and rules.
- The child’s question about his favorite game: It is important to take the child’s opinion of the activity that will be practiced with his family. If parents impose what they want to put restrictions, the child will feel upset as if he does what is ordered and will not have fun and will hate playing time with his family.
- If the child does not find the suitable activity, parents can always put up some ideas to pick out what they want. If the child is not used to playing with his family, he will find it difficult to express his opinion because he is not used to his presence in his world.
- Put some rules in play: to teach the child the need for rules until the time of play, it will make him more disciplined.
Activities with the child
- Playing outdoors in the garden (if any): playing with a ball or swinging on hammocks, or preparing some clay dishes. Children love to play with it, go on a walk in the neighborhood, or learn about nature, plants and animals together.
- Play home games: playing cards, playing hide and seek, escape and capture, and teaching them how to accept defeat and win.
- Do a family activity: bake cookies or biscuits together, or make a house of corns and pillows, or draw a painting.
- Read the book together: Make the child choose his favorite book and then read it.
- Watch a movie together: go go to see it in the cinema, or at home with a snack like Kalashar, and make the little guy choose his favorite movie.
