Snoring
The snoring is one of the most annoying sounds issued during sleep. This sound is caused by the lack of breathing in the person. It varies from person to person in terms of sound. It is quiet. This happens with most people. It occurs because the head and neck are not adjusted for the wrong sleep. Another, this is often due to short-term apnea, for many reasons.
The person who makes the snoring sound does not feel it, often because of uncomfortable sleep, which is annoying to people who share your bedroom or bed, like a husband or wife.
Snoring occurs only during sleep, because the muscles of the nose and mouth are in a state of relaxation especially the larynx tissue, leading to a sound when the air passes through them.
Causes of Snoring
- The seborrheic polyps found in the nasal cavities act on snoring
- The presence of chronic infections or malignant diseases in the nose
- Nose warping, often the result of injury or congenital defect since birth

- Sleeping on the back

Types of snoring
- Oral snoring: It is the result of inhaling air through the mouth during sleep
- Nasal snoring: It is a narrow result of the nose, or difficulty breathing from the mouth during sleep
- Genetic snoring: It has genetic causes, where scientific research has shown the existence of genetic genes leading to snoring
- Normal Snoring: This is caused by obesity and tightness in the respiratory tract
- Snoring caused by certain diseases
Cure Snoring
The treatment of snoring varies according to the reasons that lead to it, for example:
- If the cause of snoring is the presence of seborrheic polyps in the nasal cavities, the treatment is by removing these appendages, and analyze them to find out the causes.
- If the cause of snoring is a warp of the nasal barrier, treatment is done by performing a process of assessment of the barrier.
- If the cause is weight gain, it will be cured by weight loss first, then a simple procedure to remove the laxatives located in the throat cap.
- If the cause is an enlargement of the mucous membranes in the nose, treatment is an excision of these membranes.
If snoring without cause can be treated by:
- Taking medicines and pills that prevent snoring, in simple cases, and in complex cases, is treated by providing the patient with an artificial respirator.
- Avoid eating before bedtime, because all works to pressure the stomach, and thus pressure the diaphragm, resulting in difficulty breathing, and the occurrence of snoring.
- Check with your doctor to detect the causes of snoring.
- Smoking can be the cause of snoring, it is cured by quitting smoking, and away from smokers and areas that contain smoke.

It is possible to treat snoring with herbs, as they are useful for the body and do not affect it, and these herbs include:
Herb ears
This herb contains substances and ingredients that reduce inflammation of the respiratory system, and dissolves phlegm, which is a major cause of obstruction of the mouth and nose, and contains the substance of saponins that soften the throat, and is used by soaking leaves or flowers Herb ears in boiling water for Not less than ten minutes, then drink once a day.
Herb of the pracion
This herb has been used since time immemorial. It relieves cough, which is the main cause of snoring. Its method is to be used by soaking leaves and flowers of pracice in boiling water and drinking once a day.
Mint
Peppermint is used to treat infections. It also helps to reduce the swelling of nasal membranes that work on snoring. Peppermint is a good treatment for temporary snoring caused by allergies or cold and dry air. The method is as follows:
Add a drop or two drops of peppermint oil to a glass of water, put in the mouth and be careful not to swallow, and continue the process several times until you get a good result.

Turmeric is very useful in the treatment of snoring, because it is a disinfectant and antibiotic capable of eliminating infections, and advised to be used with milk, which helps to breathe well during sleep, and it works to strengthen the immune system in humans, and the way is as follows:
Add two tablespoons of turmeric to the warm milk, and drink before going to sleep for not less than half an hour, repeat this process daily to get better results.
The ghee helps open the blocked pores in the nose, which is a major cause of snoring, and the method of use is as follows:
You should heat a small piece of margarine in the microwave and then place two or more points on your nose with a dropper. Repeat this process every day before going to sleep and wake up.
Steam inhalation is a good solution for treating snoring. The steam works to open the nose pores, and its method is as follows:
Pour the boiled water into a large bowl, add three or four points of camphor oil or fragrance oil, and then the person inhaled the steam for at least ten minutes, preferably repeat this process every day before bed to get good results.
Olive oil is a disinfectant and a good antidote to inflammation, reducing swelling, so that the air enters the respiratory tract naturally, thus preventing snoring.
