During pregnancy there are many problems such as dark circles, pigmentation and cracking lips, costs and many more, so and as any stage of life should pay attention to skin care and find some appropriate solutions to some problems.

Here are some of the most important tips pregnant women need during pregnancy to care for their skin:

  • If the pregnant is a dry skin, the skin should be kept moisturized with special moisturizers, as well as drinking water as much as three cups a day.
  • Avoid bathing with hot water.
  • Avoid using detergents that may dry the skin and hurt it.
  • You can massage the abdomen with cocoa butter if the pregnant woman feels itching.
  • If you find that after ulcers in some areas of the body, you can use some moisturizers and special creams.
  • Moisturizing and massage the feet with some special ointments. They cool these areas because they contain menthol, camphor or peppermint oil.
  • Avoid standing for long periods and making sure you get enough vitamin C from its various dietary sources.
  • Use the right makeup and cosmetics for your skin.
  • Try to clean the entire skin before sleeping from different cosmetics especially those used for the eyes.
  • Take adequate rest and sleep especially at night.
  • Slices can be used around the eyes to get rid of dark circles around the eyes or to get rid of bulging.
  • Regular exercise such as walking and some yoga exercises that bring rest and relaxation in the body.
  • It is also recommended to grind some almonds with a little saffron, then mix them with milk and put them on the pigmentation areas. So the skin is soaked to wash afterwards.
  • Lip cracking can be treated with some fat or vegetable oil.
  • Honey is a natural disinfectant and very useful for killing bacteria especially for some types of pimples such as acne, where a little fat can be applied to the place of pimples several times a day for a period of not less than ten minutes.
  • Grind some peppermint leaves, mix them with water, and put the mixture on the face and leave it for at least a third of an hour once a day. This method removes the bacteria and dirt accumulated on the skin.
